We understand that some may feel uncomfortable with an office visit. That is why we are continuing to offer telemedicine appointments. To learn more about telemedicine and how to schedule an appointment, click here.

For health tips and guidance on how to support your immune system during the COVID-19 outbreak, visit our COVID-19 page.

Please bring your insurance card to your appointment. We participate with most major insurance companies as a specialty practice. If you have questions regarding your coverage, please contact your insurance company prior to your appointment.

If you have an HMO, you will likely need a referral from your primary care physician. The referral must be in place prior to your appointment.

Please note: some insurance companies will not pay for two treatment modalities on the same day (e.g., osteopathic treatment and physical therapy). Please try not to schedule other treatments on the same day as your appointment at OHM.

  • Co-payments must be paid at the time of service.
  • We do not accept Medicaid or MaineCare.

Motor Vehicle Injuries

If your injury is the result of a motor vehicle accident, please bring  your own motor vehicle medical payment information to your first appointment. We do not bill third parties. Your insurance company is responsible for negotiating payment with the other party.

Worker’s Compensation Injuries

If your injury or illness is work-related, please bring all the necessary billing information, including the date of injury, the claim number, and the contact information for any case/nurse managers or attorneys assigned to the case.
